Job Description

The HVDC Construction and Commissioning Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading all site construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities for High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering , Power Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Extensive experience in HVDC, substations, power transmission, or large utility-scale electrical infrastructure projects .
Strong experience in both construction management and commissioning of high-voltage electrical systems.
Proven knowledge of converter stations, protection and control systems, testing procedures, and energization processes.
Experience managing large, complex EPC or turnkey HVDC projects.
Knowledge of LCC and/or VSC HVDC technologies.
Experience working with multinational teams, contractors, and clients across multiple geographies.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and commissioning procedures.
10+ years of experience in power transmission, substation, or HVDC projects
5+ years in a site leadership, construction management, or commissioning leadership role
Demonstrated experience with high-voltage equipment installation, testing, and energization
