Job Description
The HR Manager at Gatik is responsible for supporting and executing HR functions across engineering and corporate teams, including employee relations, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and culture initiatives, in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and employees to translate business needs into practical people solutions aligned with HR programs and policies
- Manage day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, benefits support, and HRIS updates
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, promotions, transfers, and exits
- Leverage HR systems and data to track workforce trends, improve processes, and inform decision-making
- Deliver high-touch onboarding experiences and support culture-building initiatives
- Ensure HR policies are communicated clearly, consistently applied, and compliant with employment laws
Requirements
- Five years of experience in HR, ideally in startups or high-growth, fast-paced environments.
- Proven experience supporting exempt, professional, and technical employees, including multi-state compliance.
- Strong foundation in HR operations including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and compliance.
- Experience partnering closely with Engineering and G&A leaders in a scaling organization.
- High ownership, sense of urgency, and comfort with ambiguity, with the ability to figure things out and get them done.
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable working in spreadsheets and translating data into insights.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a calm, confident, and discreet approach.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms such as Rippling, ADP, or similar.
- Deep integrity, strong follow-through, and exceptional attention to detail.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range of $65/hr to $85/hr
Onsite work schedule, 5 days a week
