The Fleet Operations Manager at Gatik oversees daily transportation and logistics operations for autonomous and non-autonomous trucks, ensuring safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction while managing a high-performing team and supporting regional fleet expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily fleet operations, including vehicle readiness, route execution, and driver scheduling
Hire, develop, and oversee a team of drivers, fleet technicians, and logistics coordinators
Ensure safety and compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company regulations
Oversee fleet maintenance, inspections, ELD compliance, and asset tracking
Evaluate performance, identify inefficiencies, and refine SOPs and workflows
Manage customer relationships, resolve service issues, and support fleet deployments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer deployments and operational scaling
Define and track KPIs to measure service performance, efficiency, and costs
Support new market launches and regional fleet expansion
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
7 years of experience in transportation or logistics, with 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, HOS, ELDs, and fleet compliance standards.
Proven success managing transportation teams and scaling fleet operations.
Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments such as logistics, transportation, or automotive preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed to support regional operations.
