Job Description
The Fixed Asset Specialist at Gatik is responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining company assets to ensure optimal utilization and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves maintaining accurate asset records, coordinating asset movements, and supporting the operational and financial needs of the autonomous vehicle fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the company’s asset records within NetSuite.
- Track asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals.
- Perform regular reconciliations of asset records with the general ledger.
- Develop and implement asset tracking and auditing processes.
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and operations teams for asset recording and reporting.
- Generate and analyze asset reports for financial planning.
- Assist with audits by preparing relevant asset documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding asset management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in asset management.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in fixed asset management, accounting, or finance.
- Strong proficiency in NetSuite and fixed asset modules.
- Knowledge of GAAP and fixed asset accounting principles.
- Experience in asset tracking, reconciliation, and depreciation calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
