Job Description
A driver role involving operating box trucks in manual mode while overseeing autonomous driving systems, collaborating with engineering teams to test and improve self-driving technology, and ensuring safety and system performance in a fast-growing autonomous trucking company.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 26-30 ft box trucks in manual mode while supervising autonomous driving systems
- Test, evaluate, and refine self-driving technology in collaboration with engineering teams
- Monitor system performance using onboard screens, diagnostic tools, and software
- Conduct test runs, document unusual behavior, and provide actionable feedback
- Maintain safety and compliance by following DOT and company safety guidelines
Requirements
- Three years of experience driving 26-30 ft box trucks in manual mode.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to write clear, simple reports.
- Excellent judgment under pressure.
- Ability to operate onboard diagnostic tools, screens, and software to monitor system performance.
- Ability to perform test runs, document unusual behavior, and provide clear, actionable feedback.
- Ability to stay highly alert and safety-focused, following DOT and company safety guidelines.
- Flexible availability to work rotating or variable shifts, including nights from 7:30 pm to 6:30 am, and working on Saturdays and Sundays.

Compensation/salary range: $27.00 per hour
Work schedule: rotating or variable shifts, including nights (7:30 pm - 6:30 am), 5 days a week including weekends
