Key Responsibilities
- Sustains and follows all standard operating procedures of the warehouse.
- Manages departmental communication and coordination with Warehouse, Regional Operation Manager, Purchasing, and Scheduling teams.
- Places all facility, standard, and non-standard item orders for Installation and office
- Operate NetSuite inventory system daily
- Conduct weekly cycle counts
- Manage warehouse team time and attendance in ADP
- Work with the service department on Returned Merch Authorization (RMA).
- Assist Fleet Manager with Fleet Maintenance
- Ensures all kits are ready for installation and are properly loaded
- Solves any issues regarding inventory, jobs kits, and material requests
- Participate in monthly Consignment cycle counts
- Reduce material waste
- Maintain responsibility for any VMI and PPI overages and shortages
- Operates various equipment and machines including forklift, pallet jack, and vehicles.
- Ensures that the warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe per compliance
- Holds responsibility for warehouse team performance management including disciplinary action
- Trains warehouse employees on processes and procedures
- Enforces operating instruction and safety policies
- Assists with other duties as assigned by Warehouse Operations Manager and Regional Operations Manager
Requirements
- 2 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Prior warehouse supervisory experience is strongly preferred
- Solar or electrical industry experience is strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Must have prior experience with operating a Forklift
- Must have prior Excel experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Must be able to bend and lift.
- Ability to work in 100 degrees as well as 30 to 40-degree weather in wet and dry conditions.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
