Job Description
The AVP, Senior Manager, Financial Planning Analysis supports the bank's financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while working closely with senior management on strategic initiatives such as capital planning and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the VP or Director of Financial Planning Analysis with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial analysis for the bank and holding company
- Support strategic initiatives such as capital stress testing, capital planning, and Board of Directors reporting
- Analyze business unit and lending profitability
- Maximize utilization of Workday General Ledger and Planning tools
- Prepare ad-hoc reports including external and internal benchmarking
Requirements
- Assist the VP, Director of Financial Planning Analysis (FP A) with FP A activities for the Bank and consolidated holding company including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly quarterly financial analysis.
- Support strategic initiatives such as annual capital stress testing and capital planning, Board of Directors reporting, business unit and lending profitability analysis, and ad-hoc reporting including external and internal benchmarking.
- Exhibit a high level of flexibility regarding duties that may be situationally assigned outside of this job description to ensure organizational efficiency and nimbleness.
- Perform duties in an office setting, with some positions potentially allowing for remote work through technology at management discretion.
- Remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing job duties.
- Use hands and fingers to operate office machinery such as printers and scanners.
- Utilize a computer monitor with visual acuity to perform job functions.
- Communicate clearly, either verbally or in writing, with others to perform job responsibilities.
