Job Description
Base Pay Range: Hourly salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $29.00 - $31.00 .
Key Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains customer relationships by actively listening to understand the organizational business objectives and goals.
- Ensures frequent communication to keep customers educated on emerging industry trends related to customers’ IT management needs.
- Responsible for key account selling opportunities, including responses to RFPs, conducting competitive research and maintaining knowledge of Flexential’s product offerings.
- Partners with the Customer Success team to help facilitate resolution of any customer issues that are roadblocks to the customer experience.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding monthly bookings/signings quotas for assigned book of business by following the defined sales process.
- Tracks and manages customer activity and forecasting using Salesforce.com.
- Conducts analysis such as customer needs analysis, service gap analysis, and compliance assessments.
- Manages key activity metrics, including outbound calls, proactive emails, scheduled meetings, and inbound lead follow-up for assigned accounts.
- Responsible for maintaining reports on lead generation activity and other quantifiable sales and marketing objective measurements.
- Manages both internal and external relationships.
- Performs other duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years sales experience in technology sales.
- Experience with or desire to learn more about colocation, cloud and other product offerings.
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain sales processes.
- Enjoys working in a collaborative, positive, fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to partner, influence and negotiate.
- Possesses general business acumen.
- BA/BS preferred.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Moderate keyboard usage.
