Job Description
A hands-on Supply Manager responsible for establishing and managing relationships with manufacturing partners, overseeing cost negotiations, supply planning, and risk management to support product launches and corporate goals in a fast-paced, innovative energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage relationships with contract manufacturers and strategic partners
- Own and negotiate costs related to manufacturing and supply chain
- Develop and execute supply planning strategies
- Manage risks in the supply chain to ensure project continuity
- Drive cost reduction through operational efficiency and disciplined processes
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external manufacturing partners to ensure successful product launches
- Balance competing priorities to meet product milestones and corporate goals
- Communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Experience in establishing and managing commercial relationships with contract manufacturers and strategic partners.
- Ownership of cost negotiations, supply planning, and risk management related to supply chain operations.
- Proven ability to drive cost reduction through operational efficiency and disciplined processes.
- Ability to execute projects that meet both product milestones and corporate goals.
- Experience working at the intersection of internal engineering teams and external manufacturing partners to ensure successful product launches.
- Exceptional negotiation skills.
- Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with senior leaders and cross-functional peers.
- Willingness to relocate to Austin, TX, with the understanding that relocation is required and assistance will be provided.
