Job Description
A Controls Firmware Engineer responsible for designing and implementing control architecture for a scalable thermal energy storage system, involving PLC programming, embedded firmware development, and contributing to testing and deployment workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement control architecture for the thermal energy storage system
- Develop PLC programs and embedded firmware for control systems
- Contribute to building test benches and CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain and update GitHub-based workflows to ensure system reliability and rapid development
Requirements
- Design and implement the control architecture for the scalable thermal energy storage system.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming.
- Hands-on experience with embedded firmware development.
- Ability to evolve the platform from industrial controllers to custom microcontroller-based solutions.
- Contribute to building test benches for system validation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure high reliability and rapid iteration.
- Experience with GitHub-based workflows for version control and collaboration.
- Relocation to Miami, FL is required; willingness to relocate and acceptance of provided relocation assistance.
