Job Description
A Controls Firmware Engineer responsible for designing and implementing control architecture for a scalable thermal energy storage system, involving PLC programming, embedded firmware development, and contributing to testing and deployment workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement control architecture for the thermal energy storage system
- Develop PLC programs and embedded firmware for control systems
- Contribute to building test benches and automation pipelines
- Maintain high system reliability through CI/CD workflows and version control
Requirements
- Experience in designing and implementing control architecture for scalable thermal energy storage systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming.
- Hands-on experience with embedded firmware development.
- Ability to contribute to building test benches for system validation.
- Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with GitHub-based workflows for version control and collaboration.
- Willingness to relocate to Miami, FL, as relocation assistance will be provided.
