Key Responsibilities
Coordinates distribution of company resources (meter engineering, field operations, load profiling, etc.) to deliver services and resolve problems GS or ES accounts in Massachusetts. Monitors revenues and costs associated with supplier services and reports results.
Participates in contract negotiations between competitive suppliers and the distribution company including ensuring that the proper distribution company personnel are party to the negotiations, that GS or ES’s meet the Company’s enrollment requirements, and arranging for EDI testing and supplier certification with the Information Technology organization.
Leads the “trouble shooting” process for resolving supplier issues and addressing escalated supplier complaints. Manages “customer satisfaction” of GS or ES accounts through regular meetings with supplier representatives to review product and service issues.
Identifies and implements profit opportunities for the Company by using knowledge of GS and ES needs and Company capabilities to develop new products and services. Increase account penetration through the development and expansion of product and service offerings and identification of opportunities/needs for new GS and ES products and services.
Analyzes proposed changes in state legislation, regulations, and administrative policy for their potential impact on the Customer Experience organization. Acts as Company liaison between GS and EL supplies, Governmental Agencies and other Distribution Companies in areas concerning retail access. Provide docket administration for on-going regulatory proceedings on supplier-related issues.
Conducts periodic Company-sponsored GS and EL supplier conferences.
Manages sensitive relationships with senior level business executives.
Represents Company through participation at local and regional “working” or technical meetings (i.e., Electronic Business Transaction Working Group, various regulatory working groups, and technical meetings, etc.).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent work experience. Advanced degree is preferred.
Three (3) plus years of related experience is required preferably in account or relationship management.
Ability to develop and manage business relationships.
Ability to act as a key liaison and to work effectively with various organization levels within and outside of the Company.
Ability to gather and analyze information to identify and resolve process and quality issues.
Strong detail orientation as well as the ability to be thorough and precise.
Qualitative and quantitative analyses.
Team leadership skills.
Strong spoken and written communication skills and strong negotiating skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to multi-task and shift among multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong functional understanding of computerized business systems.
Experience with OMNI and SAP highly desired.
