Job Description
A web content editor and writer responsible for reviewing, editing, and creating web copy for Esri.com, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency while collaborating with cross-functional teams and applying best practices including AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and write web copy for Esri.com to ensure style, accuracy, and consistency
- Build document templates and review stakeholder-provided content
- Maintain editorial standards and ensure content aligns with brand voice and style guidelines
- Conduct research to understand products, services, and target audience for content creation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content strategies and messaging
- Apply best practices and AI tools to optimize content quality and workflow efficiency
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a web writer, copywriter, marketing writer, or journalist.
- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the talent to quickly produce multiple options under pressure, and within specifications such as word count, target audience, voice, and style.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and trends, AI writing tools, and content management systems.
- Demonstrate an extremely high level of attention to detail and ability to work within complex templates and style guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to understand and translate complex concepts into clear, concise, compelling content.
