Job Description
This role involves processing and maintaining accounts payable records, reviewing invoices, preparing payments, reconciling vendor statements, and supporting the finance team with organizational and communication tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval
- Prepare and process invoice payments via check, ACH, and wire transfers
- Perform 3-way purchase order matching in SAP ERP system
- Reconcile vendor statements, credit cards, and identify discrepancies
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with company policies
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers
Requirements
- One year of experience in accounting support
- Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to use a variety of online systems
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum typing speed of 25 words per minute
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Accounts payable experience working with a high volume of transactions
