Job Description
A Technical Consultant responsible for deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise GIS solutions in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure, with a focus on automating operations, optimizing processes, and developing innovative cloud-based solutions for complex customer implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot ArcGIS Enterprise solutions in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
- Implement and validate solution changes to ensure minimal downtime and optimal operational efficiency
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to deploy cloud GIS solutions for various customers
- Research and develop solutions using new cloud technologies to enhance existing deployments and create new offerings
- Provide proactive support by recognizing and addressing uptime and performance issues
- Engage with development, QA, and product teams to resolve technical cases
- Provide rotational 24/7 on-call technical support
Requirements
- Five years of experience designing, implementing, and administrating enterprise GIS solutions systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform desktop, enterprise, and online.
- Proficiency with the Esri product line, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and related desktop extensions.
- Excellent organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact directly with customers who do not have an IT background.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related STEM field.
- Ability to work in a rotational 24/7 on-call technical support schedule.
