Job Description
A Technical Consultant specializing in imagery and remote sensing, responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting geospatial solutions using Esri technology, while advising customers on best practices and innovative strategies in the remote sensing and imagery domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise customers on innovative geospatial solutions using Esri technology
- Design, implement, and configure imagery and remote sensing solutions for clients
- Identify, design, and certify GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
- Provide configuration guidance and best practices to customers
- Support business development through collaboration with sales and marketing teams
- Diagnose and optimize existing imagery workflows and solutions
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate Esri imagery technologies
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform desktop, server, and online.
- Hands-on experience working with or implementing imagery and remote sensing software including satellite imagery, aerial photography, drone captured imagery, and LIDAR data management and analysis.
- Experience working with LiDAR point cloud data.
- Proficiency in scripting using Python for geospatial analysis and management.
- Deep working experience in core Esri GIS software products ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to both technical peers and non-technical project managers or customers.
