Job Description
A geospatial solutions specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise GIS workflows using Esri technology to help defense and intelligence clients make data-driven decisions and achieve their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with customers and partners to design, identify, and certify GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
- Provide guidance on platform configuration and best practices using Esri technology
- Identify the value of location within customer workflows to enhance decision-making and ROI
- Recommend strategies, architectures, and solutions, and assist with implementation and migration planning
- Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to diverse customer audiences
- Collaborate with customer IT teams to align technical objectives and business goals with Esri solutions
Requirements
- Five (5) years of professional experience in a similar position supporting responsibilities such as supporting GIS workflows, designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions that leverage the ArcGIS platform including Desktop, Server, and Online.
- Proven experience leveraging Esri’s software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs.
- Proactively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Intelligence domain.
- Proven experience with GIS workflow automation patterns.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to technical peers, non-technical peers, project managers, and customers.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
- U.S. citizenship with Active or Current Top Secret Security Clearance within the last 2 years and SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a STEM-related field.
