Job Description
This role involves analyzing, remediating, and managing vulnerabilities across various systems and applications, collaborating with security teams, implementing security standards, and supporting system administration to protect organizational IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability analysis and remediation across applications, operating systems, hardware, and environments
- Partner with the Security Team for risk assessments and prioritization
- Develop and implement automated solutions for deploying remediations
- Collaborate with teams across the company to implement security remediations
- Monitor deployment progress and analyze results to address failures and false positives
- Help implement and uphold security standards such as NIST 800-171, CMMC, and FedRAMP
- Support general system administration duties
Requirements
- One or more years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and remediating issues on Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Linux, and MacOS operating systems.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell.
- Good presentation skills both in person and virtually using Teams or Zoom.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in preparing technical documentation including procedures, policies, and proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Prisma Cloud, and Security Scorecard.
- Experience with managing tasks, working with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) CIs, creating reports, dashboards, and queries in ServiceNow.
- Experience with common security standards such as CIS, STIG, NIST 800-53, CMMC, and FedRAMP, including implementing vendor hardening guidelines.
- Operational knowledge of endpoint management tools such as SCCM, Ansible, Salt Stack, and JAMF.
- Operational knowledge of cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Certifications in Microsoft MCSE, Linux, AWS, Azure, or VMware.

Base salary range of $68,640 - $79,040 USD
