Job Description
This role involves designing and implementing integration solutions between GIS and BIM systems to enhance asset design, construction, and operation workflows, utilizing cloud-based platforms, APIs, and micro-services within a collaborative, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement integration between ArcGIS geospatial cloud and cloud-based BIM systems
- Develop RESTful APIs to connect GIS and BIM platforms
- Create Typescript components and widgets compatible with ArcGIS Experience Builder
- Develop geoprocessing tools to automate BIM data linking and migration to ArcGIS
- Communicate with industry developers to establish best practices for GIS-BIM integration
- Design real-time and batch data pipelines for synchronizing BIM data with GIS
- Construct micro-service pipelines for handling large BIM datasets
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of software product development experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing cloud infrastructure, backend services, and data pipelines.
- Exceptional understanding and proficiency in at least two of the following languages and tools: TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, Bootstrap, React, Angular, or extensive experience with C, .NET, and/or Python.
- Knowledge of Agile software engineering processes and proficiency with git.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
