Job Description
This role involves leveraging consultative sales skills to promote and secure training solutions for Esri's GIS technology, working closely with customers to understand their needs and demonstrate the value of training and services to enhance their use of ArcGIS.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets by proactively seeking training opportunities from current customers and consulting with government or B2B organizations to understand their needs
- Develop and propose tailored training and service solutions that demonstrate business value and address customer goals and challenges
- Represent and communicate the value of Esri training and services to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive solutions for customers
- Manage the sales cycle from discovery to closing using consultative sales skills
- Expand customer contacts and support customer success by leveraging networking opportunities at Esri events and other venues
Requirements
- Five years of consultative sales experience, preferably in government or B2B sectors.
- Direct work-related experience in or familiarity with the organizations and operations of government communities.
- Demonstrated ability to be creative in the consultative sales process.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 20% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
