Job Description
A senior GIS solutions architect working closely with clients to design, implement, and optimize enterprise GIS workflows using Esri technology, primarily supporting defense and intelligence sectors, to enable data-driven decision-making and strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
- Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers using Esri technology
- Identify the value of location within customer workflows to enhance decision-making and ROI
- Develop and present complex GIS technical demonstrations to diverse customer staff
- Collaborate with customer IT teams to align technical objectives and business goals with Esri solutions
- Support the implementation of enterprise GIS solutions leveraging ArcGIS software components
- Proactively craft and propose GIS solutions that demonstrate business value, especially in Defense and Intel domains
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform desktop, server, and online.
- Proven experience leveraging Esri’s software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs.
- Advanced ArcGIS Platform Configuration skills.
- Advanced Programming and scripting experience with Python, Arcade, and/or HTML JavaScript.
- Knowledge in modeling and managing logical and topological network data.
- System administration experience on Windows.
- Active TS Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field.
