Job Description
A Product Manager specializing in 3D web development who advocates for developer needs, drives the product vision for ArcGIS Maps SDK, and collaborates with teams and partners to enhance 3D mapping applications using web technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers and partners to gather requirements for 3D web development using JavaScript Maps SDK
- Align product roadmap with platform goals for data interoperability and user experience
- Collaborate on 3D Web GIS vision and requirements with product teams
- Conduct market research to identify product enhancement opportunities
- Present and evangelize SDK capabilities to the developer community through conferences, webinars, and blogging
- Establish feedback loops with developers for product improvement
- Prioritize and clarify the SDK roadmap during planning
- Represent the SDK as a product expert at industry events and on social media
- Assist in product go-to-market planning and marketing briefs
- Analyze potential partner relationships to inform product strategy
Requirements
- Five years of product management experience, preferably in geospatial or mapping technology.
- Proficiency in web development technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with 3D technology for visualization, GIS, or infrastructure planning.
- Skilled in presenting and building strategic relationships with customers and partners.
- Effective communication of market requirements to technical staff.
- Excellent interpersonal, writing, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills for data, market trends, and user feedback analysis.
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time to customer sites, conferences, trade shows, and other strategic meetings and events.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, GIS, engineering, or a related field.
