Job Description
A hands-on role focused on cybersecurity incident response, forensics, and automation within enterprise environments, involving designing detection solutions, analyzing security data, and collaborating with teams to enhance overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incident response and forensic analysis across physical, virtual, and cloud environments
- Design and implement detection solutions using diverse log sources and security technologies
- Automate security controls, processes, and detection capabilities to reduce manual intervention
- Collaborate with operations teams to embed security best practices within enterprise infrastructure
- Develop advanced detection methods and analyze data from multiple sources daily
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in enterprise security engineering, operations, and implementation, with a strong adherence to industry-standard tools and methodologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and broader security concepts
- Advanced proficiency with systems technologies, including servers, operating systems, virtualization, and storage infrastructure, as well as expertise in networking and communication protocols
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Perl, PHP, and Ruby for automation and data manipulation tasks
- Practical experience in securing cloud infrastructures on AWS, Azure, and GCP, leveraging CSPM and CWP tools
- In-depth understanding of defense-in-depth strategies encompassing physical, administrative, and technical controls
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related STEM field
- Ability to contribute ideas, develop documentation, and implement security best practices within a team environment
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills to extract, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements or strategies from customers and IT stakeholders
- Experience with industry’s best tools in EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and email protections
- Experience in large-scale enterprise environments

Base salary range of $93,600 to $157,560 USD
