Job Description
A Senior Industry Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns to increase revenue, expand markets, and build community within the state and local government sector, leveraging market research, content creation, event management, and analytics to drive long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns across multiple channels to increase revenue and market share within the government sector.
- Create marketing content and assets, including messaging, print collateral, digital content, and campaign materials.
- Manage and contribute to events and webinars, including content creation, logistics, and community engagement.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, preparing reports and leveraging analytics to optimize marketing efforts.
- Utilize marketing technology and processes to manage activities, segment audiences, run campaigns, and publish content.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, industry influencers, and professional associations to enhance brand positioning.
- Foster a community of users and advocates through activities such as user groups, meetups, online forums, and events.
Requirements
- Five years of marketing experience within business-to-business and/or business-to-consumer fields, preferably marketing to business professionals in related industries.
- Established knowledge of marketing principles, campaign management, and process improvement.
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills for internal and external audiences.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledgeable in strong understanding of CRM, social media platforms, business intelligence, and project management processes.
- Strong decision making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills.
- Must be able to travel up to 20% during peak marketing periods.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
