Job Description
A Geospatial and Industry expert responsible for advising customers on complex GIS solutions, demonstrating the value of Esri technology, and leading technical engagements to address business challenges across industries such as AEC and environmental consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and support the sales of Esri software and solutions.
- Lead technical meetings with enterprise decision makers to drive revenue.
- Serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert in GIS, AEC, and environmental consulting.
- Develop complex GIS solutions aligned with customer business needs and strategies.
- Design and deliver presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Troubleshoot client issues related to Esri application deployment and system architecture.
- Share knowledge and coach team members on GIS best practices.
- Propose innovative GIS solutions that demonstrate business value to customers.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications
- 3 years of experience in AEC, environmental consulting, or related industries
- Broad knowledge of ArcGIS from an IT context such as hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud computing
- Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design
- Understanding of sales and business development processes
- Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri application deployment and system architecture
- Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments including Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Experience integrating software solutions with other business systems including data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms
- Programming and scripting experience with languages such as Python and JavaScript
- Remarkable presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field
