Job Description
The Senior Consultant will oversee the development of geospatial-centric solutions for clients, focusing on program management and strategic consulting to enhance the use of GIS technology in their businesses. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, managing complex programs, and delivering transformational solutions to support customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee complex and strategic GIS programs with multiple engagements and stakeholders
- Work with senior-level stakeholders to establish program goals aligned with organizational strategy
- Monitor outputs and outcomes of engagements and manage changes to ensure program benefits
- Serve as a point of contact for escalation
- Meet and coordinate with stakeholders to discuss program status and address issues
- Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle
- Analyze program risks and manage risk mitigation plans
Requirements
- 8 years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities.
- Professional experience in program management, including but not limited to managing business industry sector, strategic consulting, technology adoption, and or in-depth understanding of customer s organization needs and IT implementation patterns.
- Ability to consult and engage with executive level leadership.
- Extensive experience in project management.
- Proven experience leading large scale proposals.
- Demonstrated professional presentation skills for internal leadership briefing and external briefing to customers.
- Bachelor s in Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Computer Science or related field.
