Job Description
A senior geospatial technology professional responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and management of enterprise GIS solutions across various industries, leading projects, developing business strategies, and leveraging Esri software to enable meaningful location-based decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support marketing and sales teams to develop new business opportunities
- Manage complex projects and programs from initiation to completion
- Assist customers in developing long-term strategies leveraging location intelligence
- Implement and support Esri software solutions across various industries
- Foster community engagement among customers, partners, and distributors
- Lead project teams through all project lifecycle phases, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, build, and implementation
- Translate client requirements and business workflows into actionable strategies and plans
- Manage project scope, schedule, costs, and contractual deliverables
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to promote solutions
- Develop proposals, define solutions, and secure new work opportunities
Requirements
- 8 years of experience supporting the design, implementation, and administration of enterprise geospatial technology including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and/or ArcGIS Platform
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to technical peers, project managers, and customers
- Demonstrated ability to translate a customer’s business goals, objectives, and strategies into technical solutions
- Professional experience winning new work in collaboration with sales and business development teams, including proposal management experience preparing executive summaries, solution definition, scope of work, staffing, and pricing
- Experience leveraging Esri’s software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs
- Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to learn, thriving in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US; visa sponsorship is not available
- Bachelor’s Degree in geography, computer science, GIS, information systems, environmental science, natural resources, forestry, or a related STEM field
