Job Description
The role involves developing advanced GIS software solutions utilizing computer vision, AI, and machine learning to extract and analyze geospatial data from imagery, video, and LiDAR, supporting infrastructure and asset management projects. The position requires collaboration with research and engineering teams to create scalable, high-performance tools for geospatial data processing and visualization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate computer vision and AI/ML models for object extraction and change detection.
- Build scalable software solutions for processing imagery, video, LiDAR, and 3D geospatial data.
- Optimize and deploy machine learning models in production environments using Python, C, and C++.
- Evaluate emerging AI/ML frameworks, including large language models.
- Contribute to system architecture, performance optimization, and maintaining high code quality.
- Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product teams in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years in software development with a focus on AI, machine learning, and computer vision.
- Strong programming skills using Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
- Proficiency in computer vision tasks including detection, segmentation, feature extraction, and model training.
- Experience with C programming and exposure to C programming language.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a STEM-related field.
- Developing and integrating computer vision and AI ML models such as YOLO, SAM, DINO, and more for object extraction and change detection.
- Building scalable software solutions for imagery, video, LiDAR, and 3D geospatial data.
- Optimizing and deploying ML models in Python, C, and C++ for production environments.
- Evaluating emerging AI ML frameworks, including large language models.
- Contributing to system architecture, performance optimization, and code quality.
- Collaborating with researchers, engineers, and product teams in an Agile environment.
