Job Description

The Business Analyst - Payroll is responsible for managing and prioritizing work requests related to HRIS systems, collaborating with HR and Payroll teams to improve processes, configure system enhancements, and support system upgrades for Dayforce Payroll and Benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize work requests for HRIS Dayforce Payroll and Benefits teams
  • Gather, document, and manage requirements for system configuration changes and enhancements
  • Coordinate with HR, Payroll, IT, and other teams on system initiatives and upgrades
  • Generate reports for stakeholders using reporting tools
  • Manage and document system configurations, change history, and procedures
  • Collaborate with HRIS team on system upgrades and changes
  • Lead and coordinate team efforts to meet objectives

Requirements

  • Five years of experience processing payroll on a major HCM platform, with two years of HCM Payroll system configuration experience.
  • End to end implementation experience of a major HCM Payroll SaaS solution.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize to meet competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability in streamlining processes to improve effectiveness.
  • Experience working in a corporate environment promoting a collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, problem solving, and influence.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, HR, IT, or any closely related field.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Experience with Benefits system administration (recommended qualification).
  • Experience with timekeeping system implementation (recommended qualification).
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow reporting or PowerBI (recommended qualification).
