Job Description

The Business Analyst - Payroll is responsible for managing and prioritizing HRIS system requests, collaborating with HR and payroll teams to improve processes, and supporting system configurations and upgrades related to Dayforce Payroll and Benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize work requests for HRIS Dayforce Payroll and Benefits teams
  • Gather and document requirements for system configuration changes and enhancements
  • Coordinate with HR, Payroll, IT, and other teams on system initiatives
  • Manage and support system upgrades and changes to Dayforce Payroll and Benefits
  • Generate reports for stakeholders to support business needs
  • Collaborate with HRIS team on system documentation, change history, and procedures
  • Train and manage team efforts to meet objectives
  • Liaise with business units to implement system changes and updates

Requirements

  • Five years of experience processing payroll on a major HCM platform, with two years of HCM Payroll system configuration experience.
  • End to end implementation experience of a major HCM Payroll SaaS solution.
  • Experience working in a corporate environment promoting a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize to meet competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability in streamlining processes to improve effectiveness.
  • Experience in translating and communicating complex topics in a variety of forums for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, problem solving, and influence.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, HR, IT, or any closely related field.
