Job Description
The Business Analyst - Payroll is responsible for managing and prioritizing HRIS system requests related to payroll and benefits, collaborating with various teams to improve processes, ensure system configurations, and support system upgrades within a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize work requests for HRIS Dayforce Payroll and Benefits teams
- Gather, document, and manage requirements for system configuration changes and enhancements
- Coordinate with HR, Payroll, IT, and other teams on system initiatives and upgrades
- Generate reports for stakeholders using reporting tools like ServiceNow and PowerBI
- Manage and document system configurations, change history, and procedures
- Collaborate with teams on system upgrades and system change implementations
- Train and coordinate team efforts to meet objectives
- Maintain strong partnerships across HR, Payroll, IT, and other business units
Requirements
- Five years of experience processing payroll on a major HCM platform, with two years of HCM Payroll system configuration experience.
- End to end implementation experience of a major HCM Payroll SaaS solution.
- Experience working in a corporate environment promoting a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize to meet competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability in streamlining processes to improve effectiveness.
- Experience in translating and communicating complex topics in a variety of forums for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, problem solving, and influence.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, HR, IT, or any closely related field.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Must be fully onsite at the Redlands, CA campus.
