Job Description

This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and industry expertise to develop and manage relationships with oil and gas clients, identify growth opportunities, and deliver tailored GIS solutions to support their operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop location strategies for large organizations in the oil and gas industry
  • Identify new opportunities and deepen existing customer relationships
  • Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders to facilitate GIS solutions
  • Articulate the value of Esri technology and its relevance to the oil and gas sector
  • Execute account management and sales processes to meet revenue goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to develop account strategies
  • Present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote Esri solutions
  • Conduct research and professional development to stay current with industry trends and technology

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience managing the sales cycle, creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with large customers.
  • Possess financial and business acumen to build compelling account growth strategies.
  • Advanced knowledge of the oil and gas industry and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers.
  • Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and various industries they relate to one another.
  • Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization.
  • Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).

Benefits & Perks

Compensation/salary range: $114,400 - $218,400 USD
Work schedule: Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%
