Job Description

This role involves leveraging expertise in GIS and the AEC industry to develop and execute strategic account management and sales initiatives, build customer relationships, and promote Esri's geospatial technology solutions within large organizations in the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop location strategies for large organizations
  • Create new opportunities and deepen relationships within high-level accounts
  • Present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars to demonstrate industry knowledge
  • Identify key stakeholders and understand customer decision-making processes
  • Articulate the value of Esri technology related to the AEC industry
  • Conduct research and pursue professional development to stay competitive
  • Execute account management and sales processes to meet revenue goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to develop account strategies
  • Share knowledge and mentor team members
  • Manage the sales cycle, establish partnerships, and act as a trusted advisor to large customers

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience managing the sales cycle, creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with large customers.
  • Possess financial and business acumen to build compelling account growth strategies.
  • Advanced knowledge of the AEC consultancy space, new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers.
  • Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and AEC design and consulting as they relate to one another.
  • Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization.
  • Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related AEC field.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).

Estimated base salary range of $114,400 to $218,400 USD
