Job Description
This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and industry expertise to build relationships, develop strategies, and provide solutions for clients in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, with a focus on expanding the adoption of Esri's GIS solutions and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for large organizations
- Identify new opportunities and deepen existing customer relationships
- Present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars to demonstrate industry knowledge
- Understand customer needs, stakeholders, and decision-making processes
- Articulate the value of Esri technology related to the AEC industry
- Execute account management and sales processes to meet revenue goals
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to develop account strategies
- Share knowledge and mentor team members to support professional growth
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Experience managing the sales cycle, creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with large customers.
- Possess financial and business acumen to build compelling account growth strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of the AEC consultancy space, new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers.
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and AEC design and consulting as they relate to one another.
- Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization.
- Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related AEC field.
