Job Description
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for ArcGIS Dashboards, collaborating with engineering teams to improve software quality, and ensuring high standards through thorough testing and continuous integration practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Engineers to establish and refine test plans
- Create automated tests for functional, performance, scalability, and durability aspects of software
- Design, develop, and deploy automated integration and regression test cases via APIs
- Manage and update test suites and results dashboards
- Conduct peer reviews of test code to ensure quality
- Improve software quality by writing thorough tests and enhancing testability
- Measure test coverage and analyze continuous integration test results
- Troubleshoot and repair test failures at the framework level
- Define, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks
- Advocate for quality and advise on test optimization throughout the development process
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, or DOM Manipulation.
- Experience with frameworks including Lit JS, React, and/or Ember.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Git, Git Actions, or Jenkins.
- Applied knowledge of testing principles including experience designing and executing test cases.
- Experience using test automation frameworks such as Vitest, Playwright, and/or Puppeteer.
- Developer sensibilities in software design, refactoring, and authoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate and resolve software issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
