Key Responsibilities
Work with a team of software engineers, product engineers, and designers dedicated to help users expose their geographic data over the Internet
Enhance the capabilities of the Feature Services, which expose Geographic features representing real world entities such as roads or wildfire boundaries via a REST API, from inception to delivery
Design, implement, and test components that make feature services
Solve complex problems with application design, development, and user experiences
Create software that is scalable, easy to use, and easy to maintain
Find, analyze, and fix bugs/performance problems whenever and wherever they occur in the software
Build and ship quality software by working effectively with members of other software development teams
Document APIs in an easy to understand manner
Requirements
Two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation
Must demonstrate experience in HTTP, REST, JSON, and SQL
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Engineering, GIS, or a related field
