Job Description
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web mapping sites and cloud-based geospatial applications, utilizing modern web technologies and ensuring high-quality, cross-platform functionality within a GIS-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web mapping sites, cloud solutions, and applications
- Translate innovative concepts and designs into web-based products and services
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility of web designs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, geography or related field
- 2 years of experience with web design and web frontend development
- Proven web design development experience using HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript and JavaScript
- Experience with front-end development libraries, such as React, Angular, Vue, etc.
- Background building high availability and high scalability solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Creative problem-solving skills and proven good judgment
- Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Existing work authorization for China
