Job Description
The role involves developing and enhancing geocoding and search software for the ArcGIS platform, analyzing global address and place search patterns, and ensuring software quality through testing and collaboration with development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development programmers to implement new search and geocoding software features
- Analyze search patterns for addresses and places worldwide
- Research and analyze customer requests to define new software requirements
- Build and maintain test scenarios to validate geocoding workflows and functionality
- Develop and extend tools and applications using C++, Python, or SQL
- Present work through webinars, forums, and blogs
Requirements
- At least 2 years of problem-solving experience in a GIS or software development role.
- Experience performing advanced SQL queries and complex joins with spatial data.
- Ability to manage priorities and tasks as needed in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, applied mathematics, GIS, geography, or a related field.
