Job Description
The role involves testing, improving, and supporting the creation and maintenance of scalable 3D content and services within ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online, focusing on enhancing user workflows, API management, and automation for 3D layers and scene services.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, test, and improve workflows for creating and maintaining 3D scene layers in ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online.
- Collaborate with development teams to build and test functionality for 3D layers and services.
- Design, write, and maintain tests to validate 3D layer technology and analyze results to determine pass/fail status.
- Document REST APIs and online help resources related to scene layers and 3D tiles layers.
- Develop educational materials such as blogs, tutorials, and videos to demonstrate team capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software testing experience using C, Java, and/or C++.
- Experience with web technologies such as JSON, REST, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS platform technologies.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively identify issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated organizational skills in prioritizing tasks and managing project timelines.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
