Job Description
This role involves testing, improving, and supporting the creation and maintenance of scalable 3D content and services within ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online, focusing on enhancing user workflows, APIs, and automation for 3D geospatial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Become a 3D service and ArcGIS Enterprise technology expert to assist users in creating and maintaining 3D services and layer items
- Collaborate with development teams to build and test functionality for current and future 3D layers
- Ensure integration of scene layers into the platform through cross-team collaboration
- Design, write, and maintain tests to validate ArcGIS 3D layers technology
- Analyze testing results to determine pass/fail status and report outcomes
- Document REST API and Online help resources for scene layers and 3D tiles layers
- Create educational materials such as blogs, tutorials, and videos to demonstrate team capabilities
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software testing experience using C, Java, and/or C++.
- Intermediate experience with web technologies such as JSON, REST, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS platform technologies.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively identify issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated organizational skills in prioritizing tasks and managing project timelines.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
