Job Description
This role involves testing, developing, and improving 3D scene layer workflows within ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online, focusing on creating scalable 3D content, enhancing user experience, and ensuring seamless integration of 3D services and layers through API development and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain scalable 3D scene layers in ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online.
- Test and improve workflows for creating and managing 3D services and layers.
- Collaborate with development teams to build, test, and integrate 3D layer functionality.
- Design, write, and maintain tests to validate 3D layer technology.
- Analyze testing results and report pass/fail status.
- Document REST APIs and online help resources for scene layers and 3D tiles.
- Develop educational materials such as tutorials, blogs, and videos to demonstrate team capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software testing experience using C, Java, and/or C++.
- Intermediate experience with web technologies such as JSON, REST, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Esri ArcGIS platform technologies.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively identify issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated organizational skills in prioritizing tasks and managing project timelines.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
