Job Description

A leadership role focused on managing and mentoring a sales team to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geospatial technology within infrastructure industries, leveraging industry expertise and strategic account management to drive growth and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales activities of the team through all stages of the account management process.
  • Mentor and coach team members to achieve sales objectives and improve performance.
  • Develop and implement location strategies for large, complex organizations to expand customer adoption.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of ArcGIS and its value within the infrastructure industry to clients.
  • Research industry trends and continuously update technical and industry knowledge.
  • Plan and execute negotiations with customers to close sales opportunities.
  • Drive the sales cycle to meet or exceed sector growth goals through solution development and creative problem-solving.

Requirements

  • 8 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
  • 3 years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team
  • Able to build compelling account growth strategies
  • Advanced knowledge of various industries and new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers
  • Deep understanding of GIS and Esri technology
  • Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge of the fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 50%
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field

Base salary range of $114,400 to $197,600 USD
