Job Description

This is an opportunity to play a key role in managing technical and non-technical projects, such as business process improvement initiatives and Business Intelligence projects for the Finance and Accounting Team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and be a key influencer for resources that are not direct reports; be able to motivate action to complete project tasks on-time
Design and develop project work plans, ensure project deliverables, and work efforts remain within scope
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and effectively summarize status to senior management
Monitor project health and respond to identified risks
Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables
Apply an enterprise architecture mindset to solutions
Communicate both at the tactical day-to-day level and at the strategic planning level with executives, colleagues, and technical teams

Requirements

2+ years of project management experience, preferably supporting Finance and Accounting
Experience with leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives
High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, and problem solving
Ability to develop strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems, or related field
Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems, or related field
PMP certification
ERP experience
Business intelligence experience
Change management experience
Working knowledge with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principals
PowerBI experience
ServiceNow experience
