Job Description
This role involves developing and maintaining productization plans for ArcGIS software products, collaborating across teams to ensure successful product licensing, delivery, and support, and providing operational guidance to internal teams, partners, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and operational teams to develop and maintain productization plans.
- Define and document business models, distribution channels, policies, and license enablement for products.
- Communicate operational strategies and process improvements across the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on licensing models, business rules, legal terms, and product implementation.
- Identify and evaluate KPIs to assess operational success and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of work experience as a product manager, business operations manager, or in a similar capacity.
- Experience writing technical documents for global audiences, adhering to format and terminology standards.
- Domain knowledge of professional software concepts including product plans, product lifecycle, distribution channels, business licensing models, and terms of use.
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented and creative.
- Ability to collaborate with product managers and operational teams to ensure productization plans and processes are current and accurate.
- Experience creating and maintaining productization plans that include detailed definitions for business models, distribution channels, business policies, and license enablement.
- Experience working with stakeholders to ensure teams have the necessary information to build processes and workflows for product release.
- Ability to provide post-release interpretive consultation to staff, distributors, and customers on business licensing model issues, business rules and policies, legal terms of use, and related topics.
- Experience working with colleagues to identify meaningful KPIs, evaluate operational success, and make improvement recommendations.
- Willingness and ability to travel 10-20% of the time for strategic meetings, events, and tradeshows.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, GIS, or a related field.

Base salary range of $91,520 to $151,424 USD
