Job Description
The production coordinator manages all aspects of print production, including planning, design, fabrication, and vendor coordination, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective results while meeting critical timelines and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with internal departments and external vendors throughout the production process
- Create printing, assembly, and manufacturing specifications and prototypes
- Manage production schedules, resources, and logistics
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely procurement of supplies
- Conduct quality inspections and report on production quality
- Maintain and improve production processes in collaboration with the Production Manager
- Use enterprise applications like SAP and Workfront to track job progress
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a print production environment and working with outside vendors.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs related to print production.
- Capable of working in high-level production activity with critical timelines supporting large conference events.
- Professional, detail-oriented, self-starter, capable of working with limited supervision.
- Excellent communication skills including phone, business e-mail, and video conferencing.
- Ability to interface with other employees at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
