The production coordinator manages all aspects of print production, including planning, scheduling, quality control, and vendor coordination, to ensure high-quality, cost-effective results for large-scale projects and events.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with internal departments and external vendors throughout the production process
Create printing, assembly, and manufacturing specifications and prototypes
Manage production schedules, resources, and logistics for projects
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely procurement and quality standards
Conduct quality inspections and report on production quality
Maintain and improve production processes in collaboration with the Production Manager
Use enterprise applications like SAP and Workfront to track job progress
Requirements
Five years of experience in a print production environment and working with outside vendors.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs.
Capable of working in high-level production activity with critical timelines supporting large conference events.
Professional, detail-oriented, self-starter, capable of working with limited supervision.
Excellent communication skills including phone, business e-mail, and video conferencing.
Ability to interface with other employees at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to multi-task.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
