Job Description
A software quality assurance role focused on testing and automating the testing of Esri's ArcGIS platform, involving collaboration with engineers to improve product quality, troubleshoot issues, and develop automated test scripts for GIS software components.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and author test cases for software quality assurance
- Collaborate with engineering teams to test ArcGIS functionalities related to Data Management and services
- Assess product quality and release readiness
- Identify, troubleshoot, and reproduce software issues
- Test software components through user interface and provide feedback
- Document and work with developers to resolve bugs
- Develop and execute automated test scripts to reduce manual testing efforts
- Share test results and status with the team
- Learn and troubleshoot existing product technologies and production issues
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software testing experience.
- Experience using an application development language, such as C , Java or Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A self-motivated team player with an interest in continuous learning and building software products.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, mathematics, or related field.
