Job Description
This role involves testing and improving Esri's ArcGIS software by designing automated test cases, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure product quality and release readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and author test cases for software products
- Assess product quality and release readiness
- Identify, troubleshoot, and reproduce software issues
- Test software components through user interfaces and provide feedback
- Document and collaborate on resolving bugs with development teams
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing tools
- Analyze test results and share status updates with the team
- Learn and troubleshoot existing product technologies and production issues
Requirements
- Two years of software testing experience.
- Experience using an application development language, such as C++, Java, or Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A self-motivated team player with an interest in continuous learning and building software products.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, mathematics, or a related field.
