Job Description
The role involves managing and developing geospatial aviation products within Esri, working closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to gather requirements, communicate product roadmaps, and support market strategies in the airports and aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and communicate customer usage and identify new problems to solve with product features and workflows
- Gather and prioritize customer requirements for the product roadmap and releases
- Collaborate with customers, professional services, and partners to collect feature requirements that add value
- Communicate product roadmap and release timelines to stakeholders
- Lead customer product briefings and conference presentations
- Represent the product as an expert on social media platforms
- Coordinate with marketing, business development, and international distributors to develop go-to-market strategies
- Develop messaging to generate demand for ArcGIS products in the aviation sector
- Engage with key customers to understand their needs and support critical projects
- Ensure internal readiness for product launches across sales, support, and training teams
- Support global business development and distribution channels in engaging prospective customers
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position supporting responsibilities such as product management, product development, product testing, software release, user assistance, software configuration, or product marketing.
- Professional experience supporting commercial software development and release, including interacting with development staff to document and communicate market requirements.
- Proven experience supporting technology innovation by aligning software capabilities with market opportunities.
- Ability to effectively document and verbally communicate market requirements to development staff.
- Experience in airports, aviation, aviation charting, or related fields.
- Ability to cultivate strategic relationships with customers and partners.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Base salary range of $91,520 to $151,424 USD
