Job Description
This role involves managing the development and strategy of ArcGIS Notebooks and Python libraries to support spatial data science workflows, enabling users to automate analysis and management tasks across various platforms, while collaborating with teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and product success.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the vision and product strategy for ArcGIS Notebooks and Python libraries across various implementation patterns.
- Maintain expertise in spatial data science technologies and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Plan and manage the product lifecycle for ArcGIS Notebooks and Python libraries.
- Gather requirements from customer interactions and market research.
- Collaborate with development, engineering, and other teams to ensure product cohesion and innovation.
- Present and evangelize the product to user communities and at industry events.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in technical product management or a related field.
- Experience with spatial analysis tools and technologies.
- Experience with Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and or other open science technologies.
- Experience creating products for analysts and data scientists.
- Experience managing products that have multiple implementation options and or architectural patterns such as SaaS, server software, desktop software, APIs, and more.
- Strong storytelling, listening, and collaboration skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at the technical level.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
- Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time for strategic meetings, events, and or tradeshows.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, engineering, remote sensing, photogrammetry, or a related field.

Base salary range of $91,520 to $151,424 USD
